Clinical Dermatology

Dr. Champagne is a board certified dermatologist who practices general medical dermatology, including managing skin cancers and inflammatory diseases such as acne and psoriasis. He has hospital privileges at Women's College Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, and Princess Margaret Hospital.

Dr. Champagne is a full-time academic clinician in Quality and Innovation at Women's College Hospital. He teaches and lectures to medical students and residents.
He is currently completing an M.Sc in Health Systems Research with a focus on Health Informatics through the University of Toronto. His research focus is e-health as it applies to dermatology; the practice of teledermatology for consult, diagnosis, screening, and in vulnerable populations.

Before starting medicine, Dr. Champagne obtained a degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and was a software developer for three years. He has developed apps such as PasiCALC and Skin3D (which need updating!), and is always looking for new and beneficial ways to integrate technology and dermatology or medicine.
